It is now Thursday, August 31, 2017.   In two days, we will be travelling to Spain and over the following two weeks, we will hike approximately 100 miles of El Camino de Santiago.  It is well-known as a pilgrimage that draws people from all over the world.   I hope that I'll have the opportunity to report on the trip every day, starting on Saturday 9/2 or Sunday 9/3.  But we shall see how things turn out - the availability and quality of WiFi is probably the biggest issue, followed by the ability to charge my electronic devices!    To all who are reading this before the first post from Spain, please wish us well!

  2. Buen Camino. You should be fine with wifi and charging devices. Most of the bars along the way will have a "Contrasena" (password) and often albergues do, too
